According to the Regulation on the Ombudsman (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation) of JSC Samruk-Energo (hereinafter referred to as the Company), the Ombudsman is a person appointed by the Board of Directors of the Company, whose role is to consulting the Company's employees who have contacted him and providing assistance in resolving labor disputes, conflicts, problematic issues of a social and labor nature, as well as in compliance with the principles of business ethics by the Company's employees.

In accordance with the Regulation, the main tasks of the Ombudsman are to ensure compliance by employees and officials of the Company with the Code of Business Ethics of the Company and explanation of its provisions, provision of assistance to employees and officials of the Company in preventing and resolving corporate conflicts and conflicts of interest, assisting employees and officials of the Company in reporting illegal actions in the Company. At the same time, according to paragraph 15 of the Regulation, the Ombudsman is obliged to ensure the anonymity of the employee or official who has applied regarding the violation of the provisions of the Business Code ethics, the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the internal documents of the Company.
